FITC & Swindon Town Partners since 1991
Football in the Community was a national organisation which was formed in 1986 and was governed by the Professional Footballers Association. With the breakaway of the Premier League clubs the Football in the Community project as from November 2007 is now part of the Football League in the Community. Swindon Town F.C joined the PFA scheme in 1991, and since being with the football league are now a registered charity and known as Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust.
