Black and Ethnic Programme

The Football in the Community Programme secured funding eight years ago for this project from the Football Foundation in 2002.

Working closely with Swindon Borough Council and the Football Foundation the money has helped us to work with black and ethnic people in and around the Swindon area.

The funding finished in 2007 however Luke Sharps, still overseas the programme and works closely with Doug Imrie, the council's Sports Development Officer.

Doug and Luke work together on many projects where they endeavour to engage local black and ethnic youngsters in a number of football and sports based actvities.
